It has been structured so that it integrates the specific requirements of the Annex 6 of the EC GMP Guide into the parts of the main text that are relevant to medicinal gas manufacture

This publication covers the use and maintenance of Transportable Liquid Oxygen System, used to supply medical liquid oxygen to patients at home or in healthcare facilities. In addition, it provides a guide for the Homecare Service Provider to give information to the patient, carer or healthcare facility staff to emphasise the safe use and storage requirements for medical liquid oxygen supplies.

This publication discusses non-destructive test methods which may be used as an alternative to proof pressure testing for cylinders and storage vessels. Three test methods are described in this publication, that also provides recommendations for their use and information on the present state of standardisation and legal status: the Ultrasonic Examination Test (UET), the Acoustic Emission Test (AET) and the Modular Acoustic Emission (MAE) test are more advanced methods when compared to the proof pressure test.

This document provides a standardised list that can be used in any industrial gas company. This document has been prepared by member associations of the International Harmonisation Council, under the lead of CGA and is intended for the worldwide use and application by all members of the International Harmonisation Council. The International Harmonisation Council is composed of members from the Asia Industrial Gases Association (AIGA), Compressed Gas Association (CGA), European Industrial Gases Association (EIGA), and the Japanese Industrial and Medical Gases Association (JIMGA).
