WG-8 – Food Gases and CO2

WG-8´s includes the use of all gases within the food industry, with a particular focus on carbon dioxide. Their responsibilities include:

  •  To monitor, influence and communicate changes in European Union and UN regulations and standards.
  •  To develop operational requirements for gases in these applications and a code of good practice for their production and manufacture.
  •  To review accidents and incidents, determine the causes and propose ways to avoid re-occurrence.
