WG-19 – REACH

WG-19 focusses on all issues relating to REACh, Articles and SCIP and are responsible for:

• monitoring EC Regulation 1907/2006 (REACH) and its future developments in order to identify the impact and influence changes with reference to the placing on the market of Industrial Gases.
• monitoring the regulation around ‘SVHCs in articles’, including the database for information on Substances of Concern In articles as such or in complex objects (Products), the SCIP database.
• monitoring the consequences of the EU Chemical Sustainability Strategy (CSS) on REACH with specific regard to gases being included in the Candidate List for Authorisations, Restrictions, etc.
• ensuring that EIGA members’ interests are taken into account and defending EIGA’s approved positions at European and international level.
