WG-11 – Hydrogen Energy

The introduction of hydrogen as an alternative energy vector raises novel safety challenges due to the operating environment, conditions, and constraints of this application, and involves many actors outside of the industrial gases industry.  The objectives of WG-11 Hydrogen are:

•  To contribute to the joint development of best practices and harmonised requirements, for input to international standards (ISO/CEN) in the hydrogen energy sector.

•  To monitor and influence proposed regulations in the field of alternative fuels for all hydrogen energy applications where EIGA members are involved.
