WG-1 – Transport

WG-1’s work on the transportation of gases includes the following responsibilities:

• Monitor proposed and current international transport regulations in order to verify, influence or initiate changes with reference to the transport of gases.

• Liaise with the relevant national regulation bodies and authorities to submit and explain the results of EIGA’s reviews.

• Represent EIGA’s interests and defend EIGA’s approved positions at international experts meetings.

• Review accidents and incidents that could impact transport regulations and to provide expert advice and guidance on specific actions recommended.

• Exchange and if necessary act on reported non-conformities with national or international regulations.
