Safety Advisory Council (SAC)

The Safety Advisory Council was created out of the Safety Advisory Group in 2010, but its aims and objectives remain the same and are at the core of EIGA’s mission.

  • To strive to improve the safety performance of the European industrial and medical gases industry through its Member Companies and Associations.
  • To improve the safe handling and use of industrial and medical gases at customers’ sites, taking into account that there are more and more public uses of industrial, food and medical gases.
  • To monitor proposed EU legislation in the field of occupational safety and health and to consider the regulatory consequences for the industry.
  • To determine the need for member information in the field of occupational safety and health and promote the issue of relevant publications.
