Medical Gases Council (MGC)

The mission of the Medical Gases is:

• To set standards for our industry and users in the safe supply and handling of medical gases and homecare services related to the supply and use of medical gases in the patient’s home environment. This shall be achieved through the development of best practices and the production of EIGA publications.

• To provide regulatory agencies and healthcare providers with specialist advice on the standards used on the safe manufacture, supply, handling and administration of medical gases and related services in line with the pharmaceutical and medical devices industry.

• To promote our industry in the supply of medical gases and related services, focusing on the quality and efficacy of our products and services to enhance patient safety.
