Elena joined Microsoft on May 2024 as Chief Security Advisor in the Global Customer Security Officers Organization.

Prior to this, she was the CISO of Indra managing security strategy for its wide business, requirements and regulations such as Energy, Defence or Financial Services. She had previously worked for INCIBE being responsible for the strategy and transformation of the institute as well as the operation of its services and projects and in other consultancy companys.

Her educational background includes a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Cantabria and several certifications in cybersecurity, cybercrime, project management and information systems managing and auditing.

Elena regularly collaborates in specialized forums, workgroups and training actions (ISMSforum, ECSO, Women4Cyber-Spain, etc.) and has been selected in different recognitions.
