Lorenzo joined SOL in 2004 as an HSE professional. After years in various HSE roles, he currently heads the Corporate HSE Department. He is passionate about Human Factors as a means to understand and improve HSE attitudes and behaviours. He also values Management Systems as a way to systematically implement HSE principles within organised and complex systems.

Within EIGA, he has been a member of the Safety Advisory Committee (SAC) since 2018. Previously, he contributed to the work of Working Group 12 “Acetylene” and various Ad Hoc Groups.

Lorenzo holds a master degree in Chemical Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, Italy. He is a Chartered Engineer and a member of the Italian Association of Chemical Engineering (AIDIC).
