His professional activity has focused on two fundamental fields: the study of non-invasive mechanical ventilation systems and cardiac output monitoring methods. He has participated in numerous scientific forums.
He had an important role in the development of IRCU Units in Argentina during COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr. Alonso is currently focused on non-invasive respiratory support therapies in COVID 19 and in the design of new NIV interfaces and low-cost turbine ventilators.
