The Neo-Renaissance Žofín Palace, built in 1835-1837 on the Slovansky Island, originally called Dyer’s Island, is one of the most important cultural centres in Prague. It is a venue for concerts, balls, conferences and exhibitions. It is located on a beautiful island directly in the centre of Prague.
Following the general reconstruction and reopening in 1994, Zofin Palace as well as the Slavonic Island (Slovanský ostrov), quickly became one of the most beautiful and popular locations in the city.

This Partners’ Programme will allow you to discover another exclusive Prague off the usual tourist trails. It combines a guided tour by historical tram, behind the scenes venues, lunch in a historical place and interactive workshops (more information below). With this programme, you will go back in time, from the late 19th century to the early 20th century and the First Czechoslovak Republic in 1918.
Most of the days’ programme will be on foot.

The Estates Theatre is one of the most beautiful historical theatre buildings in Europe. It has been part of the National Theatre since 1920. The Opera, Drama and Ballet ensembles give repertory performances at the Estates Theatre.

The name Vinohrady in English literally means vineyards. The district of Vinohrady is situated on the territory of the former royal vineyards, which were founded in 1348 by Charles IV, Czech king and Holy Roman Emperor.

This Neo–Renaissance building on the Náměstí Míru Square in Prague is the brainchild of famed architect Antonín Turek. The National House was completely finished after only 15 months of intense work, and opened in 1894. It had become the seat of many national, as well as local, associations and corporations throughout the years.
The largest and most spectacular historical hall in the National House of Vinohrady is named after a Russian poet Vladimir V. Majakovsky.
The hall is decorated with beautiful murals and its decorations include 18 busts of significant Czechs, as well as a number of rosettes and Amorinos on balconies along with other ornaments. Chandeliers are perhaps the most valuable relics from the end of 19th century.
