EIGA Summer Summit 2025

03 June 2025

INTRODUCTION

What a week! Our EIGA Summer Summit just took place in Edinburgh.

This annual event is not just the occasion to hold our General Assembly—a pivotal moment in our calendar—but also a time to come together and recognise what makes our community exceptional.

It’s a moment to spotlight our core priority, safety, and to honour innovation. With safety, technology and sustainability at the heart of our mission, 9 awards were presented this year to highlight outstanding achievements in safety, and technical advancement, together with 72 zero accident awards for company member sites.

To those who joined us in Edinburgh — 108 participants from 18 different countries —thank you.

Photos from the event are available here.

EIGA GENERAL ASSEMBLY

The EIGA Summer Sessions bring together senior management of our members to discuss statutes, budgets and strategies for the association.

Exclusively for members, this event offers an optimal environment for high-level engagement. Over the course of just a few days, a packed agenda features meetings of the Board, Chairs of the four Councils, and of the General Assembly.

The 2026 budget was confirmed, and 2026 membership fees were frozen to the same levels as for 2024.
